Wendys started in 1969 when Dave Thomas, its founder, decided to leave KFC and opened his own hamburger establishment. The store, located in Columbus, Ohio, attracted many customers owing to Dave’s signature philosophy; never cut corners.

The catch phrases that Dave created provided success for the business. Offering a one of a kind burger with a square shape drew many crowds. The term coined by Dave, “hot and juicy” burgers caught on around the world.

Dave named the chain Wendys after his daughter Wendy. Wendys, his restaurant’s name, came to life after five other name attempts. Although Dave considered five other names for his business, still Wendys won his consideration.

Dave Thomas, not only generated revenue from food, but also large sums for a foundation created by himself. He built an adoption foundation, benefiting those without parents in need of them.

The restaurant’s goals included not only bringing joy to those consuming its foods, but also creating an environment of loyalty and happiness towards customers. Dave held a vision within himself to grow his business by offering quality foods.

Satisfaction does not only spur from a sizzling burger, but also from someone who can lend an ear. Therefore, Wendys created a slogan posted on computers within the store for those interacting with customers.

The slogan reads: Be aware, listen, admit wrongdoing, if any; satisfy, talk with you soon. This slogan helped customers who have a tough day and may even need a random person at a restaurant to hear them out.

The frosty ranks as one of the most popular product at Wendys. Even in a cool season, this tasty treat brings happiness to many. Unlike Dairy Queen and other fast food restaurants, Wendys fine product produces a sweet flavor for an inexpensive price.

Wendys.

Ladies and gentlemen; the best burger business!
