Although many composers created a difference in the history of America’s music, still John Williams has remained a legend throughout the decades. Born in Queens, New York on the 8th of February 1932, Williams started his education in North Hollywood High School. As time passed, Williams moved to Los Angeles in 1948 to pursue his love of music.

Accepted to Juilliard, Williams developed his skills and became a well known music composer. His unique way of having the blasting, rusting, and scratching through brass instruments engaged the audience towards his work. Starting as a young jazz pianist, John Williams grew into a well seasoned composer.

John Williams created over 75 scores and has developed numerous concert pieces that has an audience craving for more. Swaying, listening, and enjoying the emotion through the work of music, he also became a conductor to establish music in a different dynamic. Not many people know that John Williams develops the intense music score in films that lingers in viewers’ minds after a movie ends.

Well known classics, such as Jaws, Star Wars, and Superman have one common characteristic. When the audience experiences the films, they enjoy the suspense while waiting, watching, and expecting the outcome. Williams designed the scores for these movies as well as Jurassic Park, Star Wars, E.T., and many more.

Williams’ road to success led to many awards as time passed. The “American Composer”, as some may call him, earned 25 Golden Globe prizes. He received over 48 Oscar nominations for his astonishing, convincing, and breath taking work.

Unlike many musicians who only specialize in one area of music, Williams partakes in conducting, producing, and scoring, producing many achievements in music arts. Reaching his dream, Williams has changed music in America from the long symphonies to the theater room suspense. Hence, Williams continues his journey with music, emphasizing the small instruments, giving them important parts.
