Lawrence Gerald Nassar, an American serial child molester, serves a sentence of 40-125 years. The disgraced athletic professional assaulted more than 256 young ladies, more than half coming forward during his trial to accuse him.

The heinous counts of assault reverberated off the court room walls February 5th, 2018 following a lengthy, emotional testimony for the world. Nassar’s actions harmed a number of women in unimaginable ways.

A victim’s father gave his testimony in court earlier this week, requesting that he receive the opportunity to spend moments alone in a locked room with Nassar to avenge his daughter’s assault.

Formally declined, the father proceeds to lunge at the convict. The anger that boiled within the father simmered as he landed on the ground with deputies restraining him.

The pain that a victim feels differs than that of the parent. A parent must consider that the daughter will forever live with the emotional scars that Nassar inflicted on her. Nassar took advantage of his position by improper contact with the olympian trainees.

Questioned in court concerning his predacious actions, Nassar mumbled a rebuttal towards the accusations, stating his title, “the body whisperer”. His reactions remained limited as he listened to his accusers recall their memories of abuse that he inflicted on them.

The disgraced doctor attended the University of Michigan attaining a degree in kinesiology. Nassar furthered his career to the Olympic games, administering aid to athletes as a physician.

The abuse continuously occurred, and 20 years passed without any consequence for Nassar. The young women have stated they knew he harmed them, but they worried that focusing on his abuse could hinder their profession.

Nassar sits behind a steel door with a possibility of communication, only when going to a support group. Never again will the “body whisperer” harm another young lady. His horrible acts may diminish from his incarceration, but the women will walk, forever with the scars of cruelty.

His sexual assault, heinous acts, and immoral behavior will never occur again.
