Every year, baseball votaries anticipate who will make it to the World Series. These enthusiasts wait while many teams play many games, but it eventually comes to two final teams. In 2017, the Houston Astros and the Los Angeles Dodgers both proved that they have the power, skill, and talent to participate in the series.

Unlike previous losing seasons, the Astros this year have shown many successes. In 2017, they ranked first place in the AL West and continued to win during the playoff games to reach the World Series.

Pitcher Dallas Keuchel led the AL with 20 victories, earning a 15-0 home performance  which broke an MLB record. Carlos Correa also added to their successes by batting .315 and hitting 24 home runs this year.

The Dodgers also have an excellent record, and they have exceeded every expectation this season from start to finish. Kenley Jansen, one of their most talented pitchers, has led them to a superb  season by showing his pitching capabilities through difficult situations. Shutting down hitters came with ease by incorporating a hesitation during pitch delivery.

Jose Altuve, one of the Astros most famous players, ranks as one of the best players in the MLB at only twenty-five years old. Altuve reached major leagues in 2011 and earned a place on the National League All-Star team one year later. He stands as one of the few players who measures 5-foot 6-inches with a 200-hit season.

Baseball critics hail Clayton Kershaw as of the most talented players on the Los Angeles Dodgers team.  Drafted in 2006, he worked his way through the Dodgers minor league system in only one season.

Kershaw reached the majors at age 20, and during his 2008 debut, he classified as the youngest player in the MLB. In one 2009 game, he pitched seven innings and struck out 13 batters while allowing only one hit.

Overall, the talents of both teams have earned them a World Series place. Many predictions have made their way throughout social media, but the world waits for the final winner.

The final winner! Houston Astros beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-1 in game 7 of the World Series!
